From a vision to a successful school
40 years of experience

From a vision to a successful school

What makes us special as a school? And: can you trust the way we work? Our answer is our story: nearly four decades of experience, during which we have nevertheless continually evolved without losing our roots.

What began in 1987 on the initiative of Jacqueline Kohler and her husband as a small institution welcoming 69 children in kindergarten and primary school is today an established day school with more than 210 children and over 70 staff members across three buildings on Seestrasse. Ms. Kohler remains active on the foundation board to this day. Nearly four decades of experience have shaped us — as a school, in our pedagogical work and as a community.

Nearly four decades in brief

  1. 1987 — Founding

Together with her husband, Jacqueline Kohler founds a school with kindergarten and primary school. In the first year, 69 children attend the institution. The school moves into a historic building on Seestrasse.

Today, nearly four decades later, many of these pioneers are still connected to the school. Former students return to the school with their own children. This continuity is no coincidence — it is the result of deliberate care for pedagogy, relationships and tradition.

A school with history is no guarantee of success. But stability, grown relationships and experience give you as parents real security: the way we work is based on a pedagogy with more than 100 years of practical experience and on our own decades of work, successfully accompanying families since 1987.
