Step by step to school registration

School registration is an important decision — for your family and for us as well. We take the time to build mutual trust: with a detailed admission interview and a thorough tour to get to know the school. We shape the entire process with great care, so that you and your child can be sure: this is the right place for us.
Five steps to admission
The registration process is divided into five steps that differ slightly between the Children's House and the primary school: at both levels it begins with your first contact — usually by email or phone. We send you information, discuss whether admission is fundamentally possible (places, age, level) and arrange an appointment for an initial interview with the school leadership:
Children's House

- 3.School tour — gaining personal impressions.
- 4.Contract — written admission confirmation with all conditions.
- 5.Settling-in — gradual settling-in period for your child.
In the initial interview with the school leadership and the subsequent school tour, we aim to answer all your questions and provide you with the information you need. Once you have decided on the Rietberg Montessori School, your child enters the new group with a gradual settling-in period to adjust to the new caregiver and the new environment.
Primary School
- 1.Contact — first phone call or email.

- 4.Trial week — a first chance to get to know the new environment.
- 5.Contract — written admission confirmation with all conditions — transparent.
In the initial interview with the school leadership and the subsequent school tour, we aim to answer all your questions and provide you with the information you need. Once you are sure, we invite your child for a trial week in the future class. At the end, your child, you and the teachers discuss how the week went and whether the class is the right environment for your child. After your positive decision, the contract is concluded.
